Highlight of My Day aka True Life: I’m an Addict

You will come to realize I have 3 pretty intense addicitons.

1. purses

2. planners/notebook/agendas/any paper you can write a to do list on

3. CUPS! mugs. glasses. mason jars.

What does this say about me? Oh goodness, I have not a clue (and I’m not sure I want to know!!)

But today Mitchell and I discovered Starbucks reusable cups! (I’ve had my eye on them for weeks– saw them behind the counter in Starkville– how creepy)

While we waited in line, Mitchell guessed they would be $7.25! And I said $3.95, but would have purchased for anything under $5.00!

When we asked… the guys says “$1.00!”

SOLD- to the lady with 67 coffee mugs who would like a cinnamon dolce blonde roast, 1 sweetener, and half & half!

An extra plus- you save 25 cents at Starbucks with every use!!!

It’s not hard to find the key to my heart, huh?

A Tale of Kale

Corey Smith Thursday was even better than we could have expected! SO much fun! & We both got to meet him!!! AHH! (Really nice guy!!)

It was so much fun I didn’t even mind staying out til 1 am with a 9 am mid term 😉 “You’ll never remember the nights you got enough sleep” is the saying- right? This is the only best picture we got of us out of the night!

photoThe rest of the weekend has been enjoyably laid back with Mr. Collierville last night (I got to meet sweet baby Campbell finally!), manicures/pedicures with mom, puppy snugglin, and a 30 degree with snow lacrosse game!! Brrrrr.

Last week, Mitchell and I just had to try the all popular “Kale Chips”! Ok, ok, I was a lot more excited than he was, but he did give them the thumbs up on taste 🙂

this entire bag cost $2.99! Enough for an army!!!

They are incredibly simple to make too; Very similar to the roasted broccoli!!

We served them along side Buffalo Ranch Chicken stuffed potato skins & mashed potatoes! Deeelicious!

Never Been Excited About Broccoli

Just about every time I eat broccoli, I eat it steamed then get to hear my whole family (or roommates) fuss about how terrible the house smells. That strange smell is what made broccoli an occasional thing growing up. Raw, … Continue reading
